The port has three sub-areas: Vlissingen and Terneuzen in the Netherlands, and Ghent in Belgium. It is home to more than 550 companies ranging from start-ups to large industry leaders from various markets - including chemicals, steel, fuels, automotive, building materials and specialised logistics service providers. With 127.4 million tonnes of goods transshipped and € 12.7 billion in added value generated in 2024, North Sea Port is one of Europe’s premier ports.
